Q: Do I shuffle my discard into a deck when my deck is empty? Or do I wait until I need to draw?

• You wait until you need to draw, and your deck is empty. If your deck is empty, but you do not need to draw, your deck simply stays empty UNTIL you need to draw.

Q: What happens if I draw through my entire deck in a single turn?

• You still shuffle your discard into a new deck. HOWEVER cards you played this turn DO NOT enter your discard until the end of the turn, therefore cards you've played this turn do not get shuffled back into your deck.

Q: What happens if I need to hibernate but there are no cards that I can target for the hibernate?

• You simply cannot perform the hibernation and any effects that require you to hibernate as the cost cannot be resolved.

​

Q: What happens if my deck is empty, I need to draw, and there are no cards in my discard or play area to hibernate?​​​

• You simply skip the hibernation step, and then do not shuffle your discard (which is empty) into a new deck, and all remaining draw effects are lost.

Q: Can the Banana Frog's faction ability to move an enemy frog move a opponent's Frog that is occupying a Lilypad, even if that opponent has other frogs in the Pond?​​​

• Yes. The unoccupied lilypad can then be immediately taken by you if have a Banana frog in that Pond.

Q: Can the Wizard Frog card ability to move a frog target an opponent's Frog?​​​

• Yes, it can target any frog that is in a pond you are in, including enemy frogs!

​

Q: Can the Wizard Frog card ability to move a frog move a opponent's Frog that is occupying a Lilypad, even if that opponent has other frogs in the Pond?

• Yes. The unoccupied lilypad can then be immediately taken by you if have a Wizard frog in that Pond.

Q: When a card says "Gain 1 March Action", does that I mean I can save that March action for later in the turn?​​​

• Yes, gained March and Attack actions are basically banked and can be used anytime during your turn. Effects that say "Take a March Action" means you must perform that action as part of the card's resolution.

Q: If I "spend" or "lose" VP, does those VP tokens go back to the supply?​​​

• Yes, spent or lost VP goes back to the total supply of VP tokens. They are not removed from the game.

Q: When an effect says "Choose 2", can I choose the same option twice? (e.g. Frog with TWO Knives)​​​

• Yes, you can choose the same option twice or choose 2 different options.

​

Q: Can "Frog with a Bomb" choose 3 frogs across different Ponds or does it need to be in a single pond?​​​

• It can be from different Ponds.

​​

Q: Can "Biblically Accurate Frog" deploy a frog in a Pond where I don't have a Long Fwooog?​​​

• Yes, anywhere in this case means in any Pond, even if you don't have a Long Fwooog there.

Q: Can "Windchime Frog" move a Hibernated card thats already been spent to recruit a Hero Frog?​​​

• No, Hibernated frog cards are considered a spent resource and can not be used for Wind Chime Frog's effect.

Q: If I cannot build a lilypad because all Ponds have one already, do I still get the second effect of "Jimmy the Bee", "Carrot Frog", and "Strawberry Frog"?​​​

• Yes, even if you don't do the first part of the effect (build a lilypad), you still get the second effect.

ERRATAS

You don't need these erratas to enjoy a game of POND, but they will help provide a slightly more balanced experience for groups of competitive players. I do plan on creating an expansion for POND one day and will be offering a very cheap "update patch" that can be purchased alongside it!

Rule for when your deck is empty:

• OLD: If your deck is empty, you must immediately Hibernate a card from either your discard or play area. Then shuffle your discard pile to form a new deck.
• NEW: If your deck is empty and you need to draw, you must immediately Hibernate a card from your discard pile. Then shuffle your discard pile to form a new deck.

Wizard Frogs Faction Ability (nerf):

• OLD: Transmutation - Once per turn, you may remove 1 of your frogs in a Pond with no enemies to draw 2 cards, then discard 1 card.

• NEW: Transmutation - Once per turn, you may remove 1 of your frogs in a Pond with no enemies to draw 1 card.

Banana Frogs Faction Ability (buff):

• OLD: Slip and Slide - Once per turn, when you March, you may move 1 enemy Frog along with each of your Frogs in that March.

• NEW: Slip and Slide - Once per turn, when you March, for each Banana Frog you moved, you may also move any one enemy Frog in your Banana Frog’s starting or destination Pond to an adjacent Pond.

Pumpkin Frogs Faction Ability (nerf):

• OLD: Nature's Bounty - Once per turn, you may deploy 1 Frog.

• NEW: Nature's Bounty - Once per turn, you may spend 1 VP to deploy 1 Frog.

• OLD: Worth 3 VP

• NEW: Worth 2 VP
